ATV/UTV Map Info
Juneau County ATV/UTV routes are located mostly in the northern portion of Juneau County (namely in the Towns of Armenia, Cutler, Finley, Germantown, Kingston, Necedah, Orange and the Village of Necedah). Note: not all town or village roads have an ATV/UTV route designation. Each town or village has their own ordinances (rules of the road) regarding the operation of ATV/UTVs. However, the ordinances are similar (not exact).
The ATV/UTV routes are open 24 hours a day. However, during the deer gun season routes are closed during shooting hours. The ATV/UTV routes are both paved (approx 25%) and unpaved (approx 75%) and journey through the Necedah National Wildlife Refuge and Meadow Valley Wildlife Area as well as local country side.
Amenities such as food, gasoline (limited on route), and lodging are generally available on and about the ATV/UTV routes. Parking Areas (vehicle and trailer) are identified on the maps and generally selected local businesses such as the Vets Hall in Necedah, Eagles Nest Resort, Wilderness in Sprague, Reel Inn in Necedah, and Road House in Necedah can accommodate.
ATV/UTV Maps endorsed by the Bear Bluff ATV Club, Castle Rock ATV Club, and Petenwell ATV Club are available at most local businesses in northern Juneau County for $1.00. Also, the map (1) is available by sending $5.00 and a mailing address to CRFAC, PO Box 185, Necedah, WI 54646. Please allow 14 days for receipt.
